The 3rd Hangzhou Micro-Drama Conference Kicks Off in Linping

On November 11, the 3rd Hangzhou Micro-Drama Conference opened in Linping, Hangzhou, themed “Empowering Industries through Audio-Visual Innovation, Leading Global Expansion with Diverse Creativity.”
Representatives from government and enterprises, experts, scholars, and industry pioneers from across China gathered to engage in in-depth discussions on key topics such as high-quality micro-drama production, technology empowerment, and global strategies.
During the opening ceremony, multiple industry achievements and major initiatives were unveiled, injecting new momentum into the improvement of micro-drama content and ecosystem development. The China Netcasting Services Association released the China Micro-Drama Industry Development White Paper (2025), highlighting 10 key trends in micro-drama for 2025 and providing guidance for industry advancement. The Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism announced a “Micro-Drama + AIGC” recommended list, showcasing innovative practices that merge “Poetic Zhejiang” with digital technology. The winners of the 2nd “Great Fortune Arrives” National Online Micro-Drama Scriptwriting Competition were also revealed at the conference.
Linping District, in collaboration with leading platforms and enterprises, officially launched the “Ancient and Modern Canals” premium film and drama creation plan. The initiative aims to build a full-chain empowerment system spanning writing, production, investment, broadcasting, and evaluation, nurturing benchmark enterprises and works that combine intellectual depth, artistic value, and market potential.
The event is guided by the China Netcasting Services Association and hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism and the Hangzhou Municipal Propaganda Department. It is organized by the Linping District People’s Government, the Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, and the Zhejiang Netcasting Services Association.
